Easter Egg Solver

This is a tool to help you solve the Mauer der Toten Easter Egg Steps.

Step 1: Activate Power and Pack-a-Punch

  • Follow the on-screen prompts to activate power and pack-a-punch.

Step 2: Build Klaus

  • Head to the Pack-a-Punch machine, and put the Brain Rot ammo mod on the weapon.
  • Head to Hotel Room 305, and turn a Zombie using Brain Rot.
  • Collect the Robotic Hands from Agent Jack.
  • Wait for Round 10, kill the Krasny Soldat that spawns in, and pick up the battery it drops.
  • Head to the Safe House where Klaus is located, and interact with it to give him the parts back.

Step 3: Obtain the CRBRS

  • Head to the Switch Control Room, and command Klaus in front of this .
  • Once Klaus has opened the locker, pick up the blacklight from insisde.
  • Using the blacklight, check the following spawns in Garment Factory for a pair of numbers:

  • Use the safe code solver below to get the safe code.
  • Head back to Hotel Room 305, and use the safe code to open the safe in the same room you got the Klaus hands from.
  • Pick up the CRBRS from the safe.

Use the blacklight to find one number pair (2 digits) at each location. Enter them below to get your safe code.

Step 4: Build the Headgear

  • With the CRBRS, head to the Apartment Rooftop and shoot the and pick up the Antenna.
  • With the CRBRS, head to the Ghost Station, and shoot the and pick up the Electronic Boards.
  • With the CRBRS, head to the Electronics Store, and shoot the radios around the area until it drops the Transistors.
  • Head to the Safe House, and craft the Headgear on top of Klaus' head.

Step 5: Break the Wall

  • Activate Klaus.
  • Head over to Sewer Access.
  • Command Klaus in front of the which will reveal a metal wall.
  • Kill Zombies with the CRBRS until the CRBRS-S BLAZER upgrade kit drops.
  • Using the CRBRS-S BLAZER upgrade kit, shoot the metal wall until it melts.
  • Enter the Secret Lab that is revealed behind the metal wall and then pass a full round.

Step 6: Essence Canisters

  • Pick up the three Essence Canisters from the machine in the Secret Lab.
  • Take the Essence Canisters to three of the following locations:
  • Head back to the Secret Lab, and shoot the with the CRBRS and then grab the Endstation Lure.
  • Head back to one of the canister locations you used, and place the Endstation Lure on the ground in front of the Canister Holder.
  • Kill the three Tempests that spawn in front of the Canister Holder until the Canister Holder glows purple.
  • Pick up the Essence Canister and then head back to the Secret Lab and deposit it into the machine you picked the canisters from in the first place.
  • Repeat the process for the other two canisters.

Step 7: Update Klaus

  • Head to the Death Strip, and dig all the dig sites until one of them drops the Microwave Dish. Pick that up.
  • Spawn in Klaus, and bring him to the .
  • Place the Microwave Dish on the station.
  • Have Klaus get at least 50 kills in that room where the station is located.
  • Once the Terminal on the Upgrade Station is green, order Klaus to stand in front of the station, and he'll climb inside it.
  • Defend Klaus in the 1-minute lockdown.

Step 8: Stop the Train

  • Head to the Ghost Station, and if Klaus is inactive, spawn him in via the spawn radio located in the Safe House.
  • Head to the Switch Control Room, and flip the to stop the train.
  • Order Klaus to stand on the train tracks furthest away from the Mule Kick perk machine.
  • Once the train is stopped by Klaus, head inside and pick every item inside of it.
  • Head to the Secret Lab, and place one of the items onto the machine where the filled canisters are located.
  • Head into the Safe House, and interact with the until it says "Activate Satellite".

Step 9: Activate the Satellite

  • Head to the West Berlin Street, and interact with the .
  • Kill the HVT Megaton that spawns in.
  • Pick up the two pieces of Uranium dropped by the two Megaton halves.
  • Head to the crafting bench near the computer, and craft the device.
  • Take the device to the Korber Rooftop, and place it to the zipline connecting it to the opposite rooftop.
    • NOTE If in co-op, have the other player pick up the second Uranium piece, and craft the second device, and then take it to the other end of the zipline to place the device there.
  • Pick up the piece that drops in the middle of the street below the zipline.
  • Head to the machine in the Secret Lab, where the filled canisters are located, and place the piece inside it.
  • Flip the round and repeat the same process.
  • This will trigger the boss fight.

Step 10: Protect Klaus

  • Protect Klaus as he heads into the Portal inside the Secret Lab.
